Developmental editing means big-picture feedback that addresses concepts, structure, narrative, flow, character, settings, logic, pacing, and other foundational elements of the work. This makes your work more coherent, organized, and ready to take to the next level.

Line editing means line-by-line feedback on the sentence-level, addressing consistency, style, tone, spelling, grammar, usage, and more. This makes your piece sound, look, and feel more polished.

I’ve worked with clients like...

• A new writer and experienced job-hopper who was ready to write a book on millennials, career change, and finding meaningful work. Collaborative, developmental editing + writing coaching got him across the finish line, to a self-published book that took off, leading to a book deal with a major publisher.
