Things I Like About Warsaw.

The trams—they are straightforward (literally, north/south and east/west) and nearly always on time

The endless cafe-bookshops that are surprisingly unpretentious (usually) and have clever names that translate to the “The Gentle Barbarian” (and cool in Polish too: Litery Numery is Letters and Numbers)

Lots of parks, tucked between the most square, Soviet buildings

The pączek, a traditional Polish doughnut, sold at the best shop in Warsaw right next to the Forum’s office. Literally.

How people eat ice cream like it’s going out of style.

The free, random concerts that happen throughout the city center (i.e. Ozomatli in Old Town)
